To enable secure communications with SSL

Restriction: This topic applies only when the Enterprise Server feature is enabled.

To enable secure communications withTLS/SSL perform the follow the steps in ESCWA:

  1. In ESCWA, click Native.
  2. In the navigation pane, click Directory Servers and select the enterprise server region you require.
  3. Ensure that the enterprise server region you are going to configure, for example ESDEMO, is stopped.
  4. Click General > Listeners.
  5. Expand Communications Process 1 so you can see all the listeners.
  6. Click * New Listener to create a listener for HTTPS.
  7. Under Listener Properties, in the Name field, type the name of your listener.
  8. Create and configure an HTTPS listener.
  9. Click TLS Settings.
  10. Click Enable TLS.
  11. In the Certificate File and Keyfile fields, type the paths to the files:

  12. Select the Conversation Type for the listener.
  13. In the Custom Configuration field, type any optional textual configuration information that determines the start-up and run-time behavior of the listener.
  14. In the Description field, type a description of your listener.
  15. Click Save.
  16. Click General > Control.
  17. Click Start
  18. Check that all the listeners have started, by looking at the Process Status bars.
  19. Optionally, enable additional logging of listener startup for debugging purposes.
