To Delete Old Deployed Package Files

Restriction: This topic applies only when the Enterprise Server feature is enabled.
CAUTION:
Use this procedure with great care. Be sure that you are deleting the correct directory, and delete the service containing the packages from the Directory Server repository before you delete the old package files.
  1. Go to the Deploy folder of the enterprise server to which the service was deployed. By default this is %ProgramFiles(x86)%\Micro Focus\Visual COBOL for Visual Studio 2013\deploy . Here you will find several directories with names of the form: service-name.random-string where service-name is the name of the service supplied during the creation of the service interface, and random-string is a string of random characters generated by the deploy process.
  2. Identify the directory that you want to delete; the date and time of creation of the directory are probably the best guide.
  3. Right-click the directory and click Delete on the popup menu.
