The Eclipse Integrated Development Environment (IDE) differs from other IDEs in significant ways. This introduction, though not a complete guide, is aimed at Micro Focus users who are new to Eclipse and provides a description of the major IDE features together with an overview of the development life-cycle and some useful tips on developing applications.
Micro Focus recommends you read this document through from beginning to end. However, you can dip in and read sections that may be of interest to you.
A lot of the information in this Introduction is presented in greater detail in the rest of the section Developing Applications in the IDE.
