To configure the run-time environment

1. From the Application Explorer view, right-click a Web service; then select Web Service Properties.
2. Check Enable Enterprise Server run-time environment.
3. Click Configure Enterprise Server Run-time Environment.
4. Expand Run-time Configuration; then click Environment Variables.
5. Click Add.
6. In the Variable field, type the name of a variable you want to set for the runtime. For a list of environment variables, see Environment variables in alphabetical order.
7. In the Value field, type the value for the variable.
8. Click OK. This populates the environment variables list and sets the environment variable for Enterprise Server to use at run time for the selected service only.
9. Click Apply and Close to close the Enterprise Server Run-time Configuration dialog box.
