Relationship Hierarchy View for the AWM Model Editor

The relationship hierarchy of an AWM model open in the AWM model editor can be displayed in the Relationship Hierarchy view.

The Relationship Hierarchy view helps you visualize the relationships of an object. You can configure the view to display either the object's children and its children references or the object's parents and its used by references.

To open the Relationship Hierarchy view :

  1. Open an AWM model in the AWM model editor.
  2. Right-click an AWM object, and then click Show Releationship Hierarchy. Alternatively, click an AWM object, and then press Ctrl+Alt+R.

    This opens the Relationship Hierarchy view displaying the relationships for the selected object.

To display an object's parent relationships in the Relationship Hierarchy view, click Show Parent Hierarchy (Show parent hierarchy). To display an object's child relationships in the Relationship Hierarchy view, click Show Child Hierarchy (Show child hierarchy).

In the Relationship Hierarchy view, you can right-click an object and select one of the following commands:

Go to
Sets the object selection in the AWM model editor based on the object selection in the Relationship Hierarchy view. Double-clicking on an object in the Relationship Hierarchy view has the same result as Go to.
Show Relationship Hierarchy
The object selected is taken as the root object in the Relationship Hierarchy view.
Refresh
Refreshes the content of the Relationship Hierarchy view. This is required to synchronize changes made to objects in the model that are currently being displayed in the Relationship Hierarchy view.
