Running Tests in the IDE

The Micro Focus Unit Testing view is where you run your test cases, and where you can view the results of completed test runs. You can run:

• Individual test cases
• All test cases in a test fixture
• All test cases that ran in the previous test run
• All currently failed test cases

If you add COBOL Docker support to your unit testing project, you can run the tests in a container by clicking Start > Start(Docker) on the toolbar.

The Test Results pane shows an overview of the test run, breaking it down into the number of passed, failed, and skipped tests; it also displays any output messages when individual test cases are selected.
