maximum header value length

Sets the maximum size in bytes of the value of an HTTP header, for HTTP conversations using the new MFCS HTTP parser.

This includes COBOL Web Services (when using the Web Services and J2EE conversation type for the listener), and CICS Web Services.

Syntax:

maximum header value length=bytes

Properties:

Default: 1024

Comments:

Most clients do not need the server to support values longer than the default, but some applications may make use of HTTP headers with unusually long values.
