Micro Focus XDBC provides you with the option of accessing your data through a local server or through a cient-server configuration. With Micro Focus XDBC Local, you access your data directly from a single machine where your COBOL runtime is installed. With Micro Focus XDBC Server and Micro Focus XDBC Client, you access your data from client machines in your network provided that your COBOL runtime is installed on the remote server machine.
