Change to the
Micro Focus XDBC installation directory.

Enter
mfinit.sh.
The script creates a series of system tables and views of those tables and places them in the install directory,
%GENESIS_HOME%\mf_syscat, by default. These tables and views are described in the chapter
The System Catalog of your
Micro Focus XDBC User's Guide.
Alternatively, you can use
mfgenconf , a default template found in the installation directory at
%GENESIS_HOME%\sample\mfdbc\mfdbc.in. You can edit this template to suit your own needs.
Note: If you did not accept the default catalog path, be sure to amend your
Micro Focus XDBC configuration file (mfdbc.cfg by default) to point to your system catalog. Do this using the DICTSOURCE variable.
