To set up a client ODBC DSN

  1. Set up the ODBC DSN.
  2. Click network driver.
  3. Enter the hostname or IP address.
  4. Set the port.
  5. Enter the name of the configuration file used for the database on the server. Remember that it is the configuration file that identifies the database that you will be contacting on a given machine.
