Description

CloudSlang Operations Orchestration Management content pack (CP) is Micro Focus Community content that includes flows and operations for managing your OO or RPA instance via REST APIs. Micro Focus Community Content is provided by Micro Focus for its customers. Support for this content pack is not available via Micro Focus Software Support but through the dedicated community content forums. The content of this CP is split into five major sections corresponding to five OO/RPA components:

  • OO Central
  • OO Designer
  • OO SSX
  • IDM
  • Insights Service

Operations Orchestration Central

These are flows for managing your OO/RPA Central instance. The flows leverage basic authentication and as such, the flows do not require any explicit user credentials. The credentials are taken from the CP System Properties. The OO Central flows enable you to:

  • deploy or remove content packs
  • trigger a flow and monitor its run status
  • schedule a flow
  • configure certain settings, and much more.

Operations Orchestration Workflow Designer

These are flows for managing your OO/RPA Designer instance and enable you to:

  • set up the user workspace
  • create a project
  • download or upload project files
  • checkout the SCM repository
  • deploy a CP and assign it to the workspace, and much more

Operations Orchestration SSX

These are flows for managing the OO/RPA Self-Service Experience portal. The flows require authentication, but the user credentials are taken from the CP System Properties. The flows enable you to Create/Get/Update/Delete SSX categories and scenarios.

Operations Orchestration Insights Service

These are flows that enable you to:

  • retrieve the details of OO/RPA Insights service without authentication
  • enable Insights Service and change its settings (part of OO Central group of flows)

ITOM IDM

Even though IDM is not an OO/RPA specific component but rather a generic ITOM one, this section includes a couple of flows allowing to run operations in IDM. IDM is a component that is shipped along with OO/RPA and it is recommended to delegate OO/RPA User/Group/Permission configuration to IDM. The flows require authentication and any user of the instance (configured in the CP System Properties) can get authenticated. These flows enable you to:

  • list organizations groups, users, representations, and policies
  • create/update/remove users
  • assign users to representations
  • remove policies
  • configure a property and much more

The content of this CP is split into five major sections corresponding to five OO/RPA components:

  • OO Central
  • OO Designer
  • OO SSX
  • IDM
  • Insights Service

Operations Orchestration Central

These are flows for managing your OO/RPA Central instance. The flows leverage basic authentication and as such, the flows do not require any explicit user credentials. The credentials are taken from the CP System Properties. The OO Central flows enable you to:

  • set up the user workspace
  • create a project
  • download or upload project files
  • checkout the SCM repository
  • deploy a CP and assign it to the workspace, and much more

An authentication token is required to execute any operation that changes the instance state. The read-only operations do not require authentication. An authentication flow is also included in this section. Use this flow to authenticate any users to the Designer instance configured in the CP System Properties.

ITOM IDM

IDM is a component that is shipped along with OO/RPA and it is recommended to delegate OO/RPA User/Group/Permission configuration to IDM. • list organizations groups, users, representations, and policies
  • create/update/remove users
  • assign users to representations
  • remove policies
  • configure a property and much more

This CP requires CloudSlang Base CP version 1.6.0 and above. This CP supports all CloudSlang enabled OO/RPA versions.
