Select for Content Manager to encrypt all the electronic documents that users add to the new store for additional security. As a result, the documents cannot be accessed from the file system. You cannot change this setting after creating the store, or for any existing store, neither from encrypted to unencrypted, nor from unencrypted to encrypted.
To encrypt documents in an existing store, use Transfer Documents to move them from the unencrypted store to an encrypted store. See Transferring documents between stores. - Create new subfolders, when the number of files exceeds - select for Content Manager to create subfolders in the store when a folder contains a certain number of files. The option is selected by default. Subfolders make store access more efficient and backup easier. When selected, a number field becomes available to set the maximum number of files in a folder. The default is 10000.
- Create new subfolders, when a subfolder size exceeds - select for Content Manager to create subfolders in the store when a folder reaches a certain size. When selected, the number field becomes available to set the maximum subfolder size.
