Finalise Document

The Finalise Document menu option is available when a document review and authorisation have been completed. See Record Type Document Review page.

  1. Right-click the record you want to finalise, point to Document Review and click Finalise Document.

    The Finalise the document review process for the selected document dialogue box appears.

    • Purge old revisions of this document - select to retain only the final document.
    • Promote the signed copy rendition of this document to be the main document - this option is enabled if a signed rendition copy of the document has been attached to the record, such as a PDF. See Electronic document renditions.
      • And keep the original document as a rendition - if the signed rendition copy is promoted to be the main document, the original can be retained as a rendition. See Record Renditions page.
  2. Click OK.

    Content Manager finalises the document.
