Census activities
For this functionality to be available, the feature Barcodes and Physical Tracking must be selected in the System Options Features page.
The objective of a census is to create an accurate count of records assigned to a particular Location during a defined date/time period.
For example, you can find out how many records have been moved or are missing within a specified Organisation.
You can do this by establishing a census activity that specifies an Organisation and date range for the duration of the census.
Completing the census activity will check if any records were moved during the defined period.
Records that are moved within the date period specified will be listed by the census.
Records that are not moved during the census are considered missing.
NOTE: For records to be included in a census, their Record Types must have the option Track during Census in the Defaults page of its properties selected. To search for missing records, see Records Management search methods.
