Enterprise Developer enables you to develop COBOL applications - native and .NET COBOL, including applications that have been migrated from the mainframe and that use mainframe technologies such as Assembler, PL/I, CICS, JCL, and IMS.
You use the Microsoft Visual Studio Integrated Development Environment (IDE) to develop, compile as either native or .NET COBOL code, and debug your applications. You can perform code analysis of your code, refactor your code, and create unit tests. You can then deploy and further debug the application under the Micro Focus COBOL run-time system, Enterprise Server.
