InfoConnect Airlines Gateway 3.7 Release Notes

IInfoConnect Airlines Gateway is a combination of software components and administrative tools that run on a Windows server. You can use this product to manage communication between networked PCs using Airlines Client Emulation products and any host that supports airlines reservation systems (including Amadeus and Worldspan), Sabre, Shares, and Galileo/Apollo.

With InfoConnect, users can run host applications, transfer files, and integrate data into other Windows applications. The navigational, scripting, and scheduling tools simplify interaction with host applications and streamline user tasks.

InfoConnect Airlines Gateway 3.7 includes several security improvements and a number of software fixes and enhancements. Many of these improvements were made in direct response to suggestions from our customers. We thank you for your time and valuable input. 1.0 What’s New

InfoConnect Airlines Gateway 3.7 includes the following new features and resolved issues.

The following key security enhancements and improvements are provided by InfoConnect Airlines Gateway 3.7, which utilizes the latest Reflection security, encryption, and certificate components.

Many of these improvements were made in direct response to suggestions from our customers. We thank you for your time and valuable input. We hope you continue to help us ensure that our products meet all your needs.

1.13.7 Fixes and Enhancements

  • Fixed escape sequence handling for VT sessions.

  • Macros calling EXTRA COM objects no longer fail with an assertion failure.

  • 5250 session macros when using the WaitHostQuiet method will no longer cause an unexpected delay.

  • Resolved access issues to Windows Environment variables via Extra! Basic.

  • Fixed 3270 Printer session handling of large print jobs when displaying Printer Status dialog box.

1.1Security Enhancements

  • Updated to openssl 3.0.8 to address CVE-2022-3603 and CVE-2022-3786.

  • Added the ability to access the 32-bit Reflection FTP COM interface from 64-bit applications.

  • Certificate validation has been upgraded to use OpenSSL APIs.

  • Added an option to specify SOCKS or HTTP proxy Hostname even if it doesn’t resolve to a hostname from the client machine.

  • The SOCKS/HTTP proxy settings have been migrated from the registry to the configuration file.

  • PDF and HTML documentation are locally installed for users without internet access when making secure connections. Reflection FTP Client documentation is available via the web or an installed PDF.

Maintained customers are eligible to download InfoConnect Airlines Gateway 3.7 from the Downloads website.
