A filter associated with a table that determines the conditions controlling the subset of records from the file that contribute rows in that table. If the table is based on one or more record types, the table filter is applied after the record type filters, if any, associated with those record types. A table filter is appropriate when either record types are not used or the table is a subset of the records belonging to the record type upon which the table is based.
Table filters are specified on the Table Filter Properties pane accessed from the table definition form.
