Filter Rule

For writable tables, it must be possible for the Relativity DBMS to ensure, for the table filter and for each record type filter, that the filter expression is true.

This may require that some condition-names have "SET TO FALSE" values.

In this example, the 88-level condition-name items BACKORDER and DISCONTINUED must both be false in order for a write to the record type PRODUCTS. The PF-PRODUCT-CATEGORY data item (on which the 88-level condition-name items are defined) must be represented in the table, or have a default value that would set these 88-level condition-name items to false.
