Viewing metering statistics

Use the Statistics dialog to view metering statistics for a policy.
  1. Click (in Microsoft Windows 7) Start > All Programs > Silk > Silk Meter 21.0 > Policy Administrator or (in Microsoft Windows 10) Start > Silk > Policy Administrator to access the Policy Administrator.
  2. Select the policy for which you want to view statistics.
  3. Click Report > Statistics in the menu or click Statistics in the toolbar.
The Statistics dialog includes the following columns:
Name Description
Producer The name of the policy producer.
Policy ID The policy identification number, as assigned by the producer.
Part The number of the application part to which the policy applies.
Type The grantee type:
  • user
  • group
  • host
Grantee The name of the user, group, or host that has used the policy.
Invokes Displays the accumulated usage of the policy. For example, all users on a particular host using the specified policy.
Units Displays the number of the units, which have been used on this policy.
Seconds Displays the seconds this policy has been used per each displayed part and grantee.
