Silk Performer supports load testing of fat-client applications. To load test these applications, Silk Performer uses Windows Terminal Services to connect to and open client sessions on agent computers. Via its own session manager, Silk Performer uses Silk Test, Micro Focus’s functional testing tool, to communicate with and control sessions (Silk Test likewise communicates with Silk Performer via the session manager). Silk Test launches clients, runs GUI-level tests, and communicates results back to Silk Performer via the session manager. Silk Performer ultimately collects the results and makes them available to end-users.
