Using an Alternate Working Path

When you open a StarTeam project to copy the IDE solution or project files to your computer, you can change the local destination.

To use an alternate working folder path destination:

In the Select StarTeam folder dialog box, click Change Working Path. The Select an alternate directory dialog box opens.
Choose an alternate directory. This alternate working folder path is local to the Integration, and it is not saved after the session ends.

Note: If the working path does not match the location of the project files, you do not need to use the StarTeam Cross-Platform Client to set the folder path or alternate folder path and then get the files from your IDE. The path set using the StarTeam Cross-Platform Client is persisted.
