Use this variable to specify the file extension used for your data files.
FILE_SUFFIX dat
When Micro Focus XDBC looks for a file, it looks only at files with the extension specified here. If you do not include this variable in your configuration file, Micro Focus XDBC looks for data files with no extension in the data directory indicated with FILE_PREFIX. You can always specify the exact filename with suffix when using the mfdbcutil program or the mfaddfile script.
