The Relativity Data Client is the component of the Relativity DBMS that resides on the Windows client machine and provides the ODBC interface for the two-tier or client/server configuration of Relativity. ODBC-enabled applications running on the client machine access Relativity data on the server machine using the interface implemented in the Data Client. The Data Client is, essentially, the ODBC Driver for Relativity in this configuration. See also Relativity Data Server.
