Warning: You can only delete a record type if it is not being used in a current table definition.
- In the Catalog Explorer, double-click the
File Definitions node.
The catalog's file definitions are displayed.
- Expand the relevant file definition, and then expand the
Record Types group.
The record types for the file definition are displayed.
- Right-click the required record type and click
Delete Record Type.
The record type is deleted immediately; no need to save to the catalog.
