For installing and configuring the Filr Desktop Application, see Installation procedure. and Logging in to the Filr Desktop Application in the Desktop Application Guide for Mac

  • To switch from OSX Fuse to Apple Silicon, remove the Filr archives, and then perform a clean install.
  • After installation, the new Filr Merged View /Storage Location is /Users/<Username>/Library/ CloudStorage/Filr-OpenText
  • After login, the Filr will take ~10 seconds or less for mounting.
  • After mounting the Filr can be also found under the Finder sidebar Location entry

NOTE: File Provider, by default specifies a mount location. Users cannot change the storage location for Filr installation.
