T27 comes with CANDE and Handshake file transfer protocols that you can use to transfer text files between your PC and the host.
You should be able to transfer files using these protocols without making any modifications to the default configuration. However, if your host application uses a language other than English, you will need to specify the names of certain CANDE commands that are used internally by the file transfer protocol.
To transfer files using the Handshake protocol, you will need to modify the default configuration.
To configure the CANDE file transfer protocol
If a T27 session is not already open, open one.
From the Options menu, click Session Type.
From the File Transfer Protocol list box, click CANDE.
If CANDE is already selected, be sure to click the list box before you proceed to step 4.
Click Settings.
Click the desired tabs and complete each one.
