Creating a Content Manager dataset

Ensure you have read the Creating or upgrading Content Manager datasets topic and have satisfied all of the requirements listed.

  1. Right-click Datasets and click Create Dataset.

    The Create New Dataset dialog appears.

  2. Complete the dialogs as required:
    1. Identification dialog box
    2. Connection dialog box
    3. Customer dialog box
    4. Options dialog box
    5. Authentication dialog box
    6. Microsoft 365 dialog box
    7. Bulk Load dialog box
    8. Document Storage dialog box
    9. Storage dialog box
    10. Configuring SQL Text Indexing dialog box
    11. Initialization dialog box
    12. Run Parameters dialog box
    13. Dataset Work In Progress dialog box
  3. Run required tasks as described in After creating the dataset.

    NOTE: When you try to use your own profile as the guest account to create a dataset, Content Manager displays the message:

    You cannot enter your own user name as the guest login during the creation of the dataset. Doing so would remove your administration rights in Content Manager.

    You can, however, add your own profile as the guest account after creating the dataset.
