Defining Groups and Users

To access or configure data within a Relativity database, you need to belong to a group that has been granted privileges to perform that function or access that data. Groups and users for a Relativity database are configured using the User Groups and Users section within the Catalog Explorer pane.

There is also an additional group, the <PUBLIC> group, that is default for all catalogs. The <PUBLIC> group is only applicable to the table access privilege, but is a quick way to grant table or column access to all users of a database; see Enable Public Table Access Privileges.
